Irish & UK Book Launches
A night to remember times two. Dublin & London, two very important locations for edc were host to the Irish & UK launches of the new book “How to be a Better Deal-Closer” this January.
We were honoured to have Dr. Marshall Goldsmith attend the Irish book launch and subsequent dinner with Simon and colleagues Sean Weafer and Gill Carrie (from The Leaders Center). What a night full of quality conversation. It was a massive night and so much thanks to so many people is required including speakers Sean Melly, Jason Cooper, Kingsley Aikins and John Murray.
Further thanks are due to the staff at Trinity College BOI Workbench who set up the venue for us and all at James Joyce Gin for supplying the libations. Finally to all who attended - the place was packed and we were overwhelmed!!!!
The UK launch of the book was yet another special night, this time at Brand Finance. It was great to meet old friends and new colleagues at this event. Special thanks to David Haigh for opening the event, Liam Jones and Angelique Brummer for organising the event.
In any field of endeavour the ability to close deals and to get transactions ‘over the line’ is a crucial success factor. Simon Haigh’s book contains an excellent ‘step by step’ guide which will be invaluable to young (or even not so young!) executives in the corporate, public or ‘not for profit’ sectors.
